The Pernod Ricard group is celebrating its first year as a CREM Gold Member. Meet Christophe Rossi, Prestige Director of Pernod Ricard France.

How does the Pernod Ricard group convey its values of lifestyle and conviviality on an everyday basis?

Our DNA is based on four founding values which embody our mission to create conviviality. Pride in our authentic origins: from the single-product era to our international development in the 2000s, we have remained true to our roots. We are profoundly attached to our terroirs and expertise through our “Brand Homes” of wines, cognacs and whiskies. This pride is accompanied by deep respect for agriculture and our desire to contribute to its longevity. Humility and anchorage: we know where we come from, and where we are going. This deep-rootedness nournourishes our legitimacy and authenticity. A collective spirit and an open international perspective: as a worldwide group, we promote cooperation beyond borders. A passion and pursuit of performance: our teams sign up with energy and creativity to constantly innovate and go one step further.

What are the strategic priorities and trends that now shape your vision of the group’s future?

Our roadmap rests on four strategic pillars, including luxury development, which I am honoured to direct. The major trend is that of “premiumisation”: our consumers look more for quality than quantity. They want exceptional products whether in the case of wines, champagnes or spirits. We are thus strengthening our positioning at the high end of the market, with houses known for their excellence embodying France’s fine art of living.

What part does Pernod Ricard play in the Monegasque art of living and with CREM?

We are fully in tune with CREM philosophy, creating unique moments of conviviality. I have a lasting memory of the Club’s anniversary, celebrated in the Saint-Martin Gardens on the Rock of Monaco, where our brands formed part of the festivities while helping to connect Members to our products. Collaborating with CREM is a wonderful opportunity to share this identity in the Principality. We are looking forward to proposing experiences always more exclusive, authentic and memorable, in a spirit of conviviality and sharing.
