A year after its rebirth, New Moods has become a real hit. At the initiative of Stéphane Valeri, Chief Executive Officer of the SBM group, this legendary spot on the Place du Casino has reinvented its soul as a live performance venue inspired by English theatre style. Velvet curtains, red seating, chandeliers, metal doors from the Moods era… Each detail recalls great stages on Broadway or in Soho. “We wanted to create an immersive ambiance making guests feel that they are entering a musical theatre,” says Director Stéphane Lobono. Five zones allow guests to enjoy the show or remain slightly apart, and the mezzanine can be privatised for up to 40 guests for a privileged concert-dinner. Orchestrated by Alfonso Ciulla, the SBM’s Artistic Director, the 2025-2026 season, from October 2nd, 2025, to March 28th, 2026 (plus an exceptional opening during Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco from June 5th to 7th, 2026), will welcome 34 tribute bands honouring rock legends from Coldplay to AC/DC, Oasis and Elvis Presley, with, as a novelty this year, a nod to French performers (France Gall, Téléphone, Nougaro…). As for dining, the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo’s new menu – created by Chef Victor Marion – revisits finger food with elegance: truffled croque, lobster in brioche, tempting desserts and signature cocktails… Open Thursday to Saturday, from 7 p.m. to midnight, New Moods draws a clientele of Monegasque and foreign residents who appreciate this unique venue “where you can imagine anything without disturbing anyone, including entertainment and birthday parties for children”. Here, the spirit of sharing reigns supreme – reflecting the partnership with CREM. “It is an honour to welcome its Members,” says the Director. “This club is essential for forging strong links between residents.” A collaboration which took on its full meaning at CREM’s Christmas Party, held this year at New Moods, before winter festivities were launched!
