Dominique Roitel

Successor to La Maison Henryot & Cie 1867, maker of outstanding traditional furniture and seating, architect Dominique Roitel is the generous donor of CREM's new furnishings.
Please describe your labels: Henryot & Cie 1867, Dissidi, Louis Roitel, and Monaco Home Collection.

As with the greatest Haute Couture designers and French workshops for embroidery, quilting, and trimmings, Henryot & Cie 1867 has made exceptional furniture since its creation by one of my ancestors in 1867. New editions, reinterpretations, contemporary creations, design… each piece handmade, traditionally, in Les Vosges, under my direction. Our furnishings adorn the most prestigious addresses: Palais de l’Élysée, Sénat, Opéra de Paris, Parisian palaces, Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Hôtel Hermitage, Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo…. We also produce creations by top architects/designers: Starck, Pinto, Garcia, yacht-designer Winch...

Monaco Home Collection presents Henryot & Cie 1867 furnishings, Dissidi is a Parisian cabinetmaker, the last on Faubourg Saint-Antoine (since the 15th century), and Louis Roitel personalizes seating online for private clients.

Your gift to CREM?

During its renovation, we donated sofas, armchairs, Louis XVI chairs, and bar stools from the Jacques Garcia Collection, on sale on our Louis Roitel website. We also provided bespoke sofa ends, benches, poufs, and tables from our MHC catalogue.

What do you appreciate at the Club?

Interior architect Marie-Pierre Martin Charpenel, with whom I have worked for many years, created the Clubhouse's new design. She presented the Club to us, and we were immediately enchanted, particularly by its Members' amazing courtesy, something lacking in today's world. At the renovation's inauguration by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, I was deeply touched by His attachment to the Club; He was very much at ease amongst us, as if at home – very enjoyable.

Welcome to the world of CREM: a place, a lifestyle, a culture.
